  • 1/3 cup (75g) unsalted butter, melted

For the Peanut Butter Filling:

  • 1 cup (240g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups (360ml) heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup (65g) powdered sugar
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Chocolate Ganache Topping:

  • 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy whipping cream

For Garnish:

  • Chopped peanuts
  • Mini peanut butter cups
  • Chocolate shavings

Instructions

1.Prepare the Crust:

  • Combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl; mix until crumbs are evenly coated.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch (23cm) pie pan to form an even crust.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.

2. Make the Peanut Butter Filling:

  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Whip heavy cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until fully combined.
  • Spread the filling into the chilled crust. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

3. Prepare the Chocolate Ganache Topping:

  • Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until it just begins to simmer.
  • Pour over chocolate chips in a bowl and let sit for 2-3 minutes. Stir until smooth.
  • Cool slightly before pouring over the peanut butter filling. Spread evenly and chill for 1 hour.

4. Add Garnishes:

  • Decorate with chopped peanuts, mini peanut butter cups, and chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • Use high-quality ingredients for richer flavors.
  • Allow sufficient chilling time for better texture and layer separation.
  • For a firmer crust, press the cookie mixture tightly into the pan.
