- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chunks (for extra crunch)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips and chocolate chunks.
- Scoop dough by tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are firm and centers are set.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once fully cooled, store in airtight containers for shipping.
Notes
- Use dark chocolate for a deeper flavor and better crunch.
- Make sure cookies are fully cooled before packaging for delivery.
