Description

These Crispy Spicy Beef Noodles are packed with bold flavors, featuring tender beef, crispy stir-fried noodles, and a spicy, savory sauce. This easy homemade dish is perfect for takeout-style comfort food at home!


Ingredients

  • For the Beef:
  • 1/2 lb flank steak or sirloin (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • For the Sauce:
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce (adjust to spice level)
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup beef broth or water
  • For the Noodles & Stir-Fry:
  • 8 oz egg noodles or thin rice noodles (cooked & drained)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1-inch piece ginger (grated)
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup carrots (julienned)
  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts (optional)
  • 2 green onions (sliced)
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Marinate the Beef
  • In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, black pepper, and sesame oil.
  • Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Step 2: Crisp the Noodles
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add cooked noodles and press down slightly.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes until crispy, then flip and crisp the other side. Remove and set aside.
  • Step 3: Cook the Beef
  • Heat another 1 tbsp oil in the pan. Add marinated beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  • Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Step 4: Stir-Fry the Vegetables
  • In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
  • Add bell peppers, carrots, and bean sprouts. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • Step 5: Combine Everything
  • Return beef to the pan, pour in the sauce, and stir well.
  • Add crispy noodles and toss until coated.
  • Step 6: Serve & Enjoy!
  • Garnish with green onions and red pepper flakes. Serve hot!

Notes

  • Protein Swap: Use chicken, shrimp, or tofu instead of beef.
  • Extra Crunch: Add crushed peanuts or sesame seeds on top.
  • Less Spicy: Reduce chili garlic sauce or omit red pepper flakes.
