Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and stir to deglaze the pan.
- Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, sundried tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts for juicier meat.
- Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
