- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions
- Prepare squash and onion: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced squash and chopped onion. Sauté for 8–10 minutes, until tender and lightly golden.
- Mix the filling: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Assemble the casserole: Transfer the squash mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly. Top with crushed butter crackers.
