- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (or to taste)
Instructions
1. Melt the Butter
- In a medium saucepan or skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the olive oil for a smooth, glossy base.
2. Add Garlic and Spices
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to let it burn.
- Stir in Dijon mustard (if using), lemon juice, lemon zest, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Let the mixture simmer for 1–2 minutes to meld the flavors.
3. Add Fresh Herbs
- Remove the sauce from heat and stir in chopped parsley and chives. Mix well to incorporate.
4. Serve
