For the bread:

- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
For the glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Apple mixture: Toss apples with sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Cinnamon-sugar swirl: Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Set aside.
- Batter preparation:
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Layering:
- Pour half the batter into the loaf pan.
- Add half the apple mixture and sprinkle with half the cinnamon-sugar.
- Repeat with the remaining batter, apples, and cinnamon-sugar.
- Bake: Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Glaze: Mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over cooled bread.
