- For the Cookie Dough:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Blue gel food coloring
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped mini chocolate chip cookies (like Chips Ahoy or mini Oreos)
- Candy eyes (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and blue food coloring until vibrant.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.
- Stir in chocolate chips and chopped mini cookies.
- Scoop dough into balls (about 2 tablespoons each), place on baking sheet. Press a couple of candy eyes into each.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft. Cool on tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.
Notes
- Use gel food coloring for the brightest blue.
- Add white chocolate chips or M&Ms for variety.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
