Made with butterfly pea flower tea, fresh lemon or lime juice, and a touch of sparkle, it’s the perfect non-alcoholic showstopper for parties, kids, or just a little drinkable magic.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon or lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/2 cup lemonade or lemon-lime soda
  • 12 teaspoons honey or simple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon wheel, edible flowers, or mint (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Steep butterfly pea flowers in hot water for 5–7 minutes until deep blue. Strain and cool.
  • In a serving glass filled with ice, pour in the butterfly pea tea.
  • Add honey or syrup if desired and stir to dissolve.
  • Slowly pour in the lemonade or lemon-lime soda.
  • Add the lemon or lime juice and watch the color change from blue to purple!
  • Garnish with a lemon slice or edible flowers. Serve immediately.
