- 3 large eggs, separated
- 3 tablespoons cream cheese (or Greek yogurt)
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sweetener (optional, for a sweeter version)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate the egg whites and yolks into two large bowls.
- Beat the egg whites and cream of tartar together until stiff peaks form.
- In the other bowl, mix the egg yolks with cream cheese (or yogurt), salt, and sweetener (if using) until smooth.
- Gently fold the yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites, being careful not to deflate them.
- Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 6 rounds.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Let cool before removing from the baking sheet. Serve as desired.
Notes
- Store cloud bread in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- They can be toasted lightly before serving for extra texture.
