Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set it aside.
- Mix the Dry Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Prepare the Wet Ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the Batter:
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Bake the Bread:
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Prepare the Topping:
- While the bread is baking, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the topping in a small bowl.
- Finish the Bread:
- Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer the bread to a wire rack.
- Brush the melted butter generously over the top of the bread, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered surface.
