- 2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or brown sugar
- Optional: powdered sugar for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and spread evenly in the baking dish. Reserve icing for later.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and maple syrup.
- Pour egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon rolls. Press down gently to soak.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Warm icing in the microwave and drizzle over casserole.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
