Description

This Cherry Earl Grey Milk Tea combines the bold, citrusy flavor of Earl Grey tea with the sweetness of cherries and a creamy milk finish. Served warm or iced, it’s a sophisticated twist on bubble tea or traditional milk tea.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 Earl Grey tea bags (or 2 teaspoons loose leaf)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cherries (fresh or frozen, pitted)
  • 12 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/2 cup milk or non-dairy milk
  • Optional: boba pearls or crushed ice

Instructions

  • Steep the Tea:
  • Steep the Earl Grey tea in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool slightly.
  • Make Cherry Syrup:
  • In a small saucepan, heat cherries with honey over medium heat until juicy and soft (5–7 minutes).
  • Mash or blend, then strain to remove skins (optional). Let cool.
  • Combine:
  • In a glass or cup, stir together the tea, cherry syrup, and vanilla.
  • Add milk and stir well. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • Serve:
  • Serve warm, or pour over ice or boba pearls for an iced version. Garnish with extra cherries if desired.

Notes

  • Use tart cherries for a more refreshing tang.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom for cozy spice.
  • Great with almond milk, oat milk, or even sweetened condensed milk.
