Description

A savory, indulgent appetizer or side dish made with crusty bread, crispy bacon, gooey cheese, and aromatic garlic butter.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place it cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic.
  4. Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over both halves.
  6. Top with crumbled cooked bacon.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Optional: Broil for an additional 1-2 minutes to brown the cheese slightly.
