Description

Cheesy Bacon Garlic Bread is a savory, indulgent appetizer or side dish featuring crusty bread loaded with garlic butter, crispy bacon, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place both halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened butter and minced garlic. Spread evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses over the bread.
  5. Top with crumbled bacon.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden top.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Slice and serve warm.
