Scale
- 2 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided
- 1 cup crushed pretzels
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 (11-ounce) package caramel bits (such as Kraft®)
- 1 (3.4-ounce) package apple chips
Instructions
-
- Melt Chocolate: Place 2 cups of chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and melted.
- Spread Base Layer: Line a 13×18-inch baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the melted chocolate evenly across the sheet in a thin layer. Allow to cool slightly.
- Prepare Caramel: In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the caramel bits in 30-second intervals, stirring until bubbling and smooth. Drizzle over the chocolate layer and use a spatula to swirl it evenly.
- Add Toppings: While the caramel is still warm, sprinkle pretzels, pecans, and apple chips evenly over the top. Gently press the toppings into the caramel using a large sheet of parchment paper. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- Drizzle Chocolate: Melt the remaining ½ cup of chocolate chips. Transfer to a zip-top bag, snip a small corner, and drizzle over the chilled bark.
- Set and Serve: Return to the fridge for 2 to 3 hours until fully set. Break into pieces or cut into squares to serve.
Notes
- For easier cutting, let the bark sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
- Customize toppings with additional nuts, seeds, or dried fruit.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
