Description
A creamy, spicy Cajun Salmon Pasta made with seared Cajun-seasoned salmon fillets and tossed in a rich, flavorful cream sauce with pasta.

- 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear salmon for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic, onion, and red bell pepper until soft.
- Add heavy cream and broth, stirring well. Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Flake the cooked salmon and add to the pasta, mixing gently.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust Cajun seasoning for desired spice level.
- Use smoked paprika for extra depth of flavor.
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
