- 2 more cups cold water or sparkling water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and mint for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add butterfly pea flowers and steep for 5–10 minutes until the water turns deep blue.
- Strain the tea and let it cool to room temperature.
- In a pitcher, mix the lemon juice and sweetener until combined.
- Add the cooled butterfly pea tea. Watch the color change to a purple-pink hue as the lemon juice reacts!
- Stir in 2 cups of cold water or sparkling water for a fizzy version.
- Serve over ice with lemon slices and mint if desired.
