Description

Butterfinger Balls are a delightful no-bake treat, combining creamy peanut butter, graham cracker crumbs, and crushed Butterfinger candy bars, all coated in rich melted chocolate. These bite-sized sweets are perfect for parties, holiday gatherings, or as a quick indulgence!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Butterfinger bars, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz chocolate bark or chocolate chips (for coating)

Instructions

 Make the Peanut Butter Mixture:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, graham cracker crumbs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Fold in the crushed Butterfinger bars.

2. Shape the Balls:

  • Scoop out small portions of the mixture (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll them into balls.
  • Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes, or until firm.

3. Melt the Chocolate:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate bark or chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.

4. Coat the Balls:

  • Using a fork or toothpick, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated.
  • Place the coated balls back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.

5. Chill and Serve:

  • Refrigerate the Butterfinger balls for another 15–20 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
  • Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. These also freeze well for up to 3 months.
  • Variations: Substitute Butterfinger bars with other candy bars, such as Reese’s or Snickers, for a fun twist.
  • Toppings: Sprinkle additional crushed Butterfinger pieces or sprinkles on top of the chocolate before it sets.
