- 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- Optional: zest of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir into the butter mixture.
- Gently fold in blueberries and white chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers set.
- Cool on sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- For frozen berries, do not thaw; toss lightly in flour before folding in.
- Lemon zest adds a zippy brightness.
- Store in an airtight container up to 4 days or freeze up to 3 months.
