Instructions
- Bake the cake according to the package instructions; let it cool completely
- Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl
- Mix in frosting a spoonful at a time until the mixture holds together but isn’t too sticky
- Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
- Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour or freeze for 20 minutes
- Melt candy melts according to package instructions
- Dip lollipop sticks in melted candy, then insert into each cake ball
- Dip cake pops fully into the melted coating, gently tap off excess, and decorate with sprinkles
- Stick into a styrofoam block or cake pop stand to dry and harden completely
