- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Optional toppings: chocolate chips, nuts, berries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small baking dish or ramekin.
- In a blender, combine banana, egg, milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup. Blend until smooth.
- Add oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Blend again until well mixed.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and add optional toppings if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm.
Notes
- You can double the recipe and bake in a larger dish for multiple servings.
- Use gluten-free oats if you have a gluten sensitivity.
- Adjust sweetness according to taste by adding more or less maple syrup.
