Description

Baby Yogurt Melts are creamy, fruity, and melt-in-your-mouth treats made with just a few wholesome ingredients. Ideal for babies 8 months and up, these little bites are great for promoting self-feeding skills. They’re freezer-friendly, naturally sweetened, and perfect for snack time or on-the-go!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup full-fat plain or vanilla yogurt (Greek-style preferred for creaminess)
  • 1/4 cup fruit purée (like banana, strawberry, mango, or blueberry)
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or a splash of vanilla extract (for babies 10+ months)

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix yogurt with fruit purée until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a zip-top bag or piping bag.
  • Pipe small dots (about the size of a dime) onto the parchment-lined sheet.
  • Freeze for 2–3 hours, or until fully set.
  • Peel off and store in an airtight container in the freezer. Serve frozen for a cooling snack.

Notes

  • Use full-fat yogurt for better texture and healthy fats.
  • Choose fruits your baby has already been introduced to.
  • Avoid honey or added sweeteners for babies under 1 year.
  • Always supervise while eating—melts dissolve easily but can be slippery!
