Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large russet or Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano or thyme (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and thinly slice the potatoes, about ⅛-inch thick. Peeling is optional.
- For extra crispiness, soak the slices in cold water for 15 to 30 minutes, then pat dry.
- Toss the potato slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F. Arrange the slices in a single layer in the basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 10 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- :
- Soaking the potatoes removes excess starch, making them crispier.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the slices and the air fryer model.
