Description

Crispy air fryer sliced potatoes are a quick and easy side dish. Lightly seasoned and cooked to perfection, they are golden brown on the outside and tender inside.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 2 large russet or Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano or thyme (optional)

Instructions

  • Wash and thinly slice the potatoes, about ⅛-inch thick. Peeling is optional.
  • For extra crispiness, soak the slices in cold water for 15 to 30 minutes, then pat dry.
  • Toss the potato slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F. Arrange the slices in a single layer in the basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Air fry for 10 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • :
  • Soaking the potatoes removes excess starch, making them crispier.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the slices and the air fryer model.
