Description

Quick and easy homemade donuts made in the air fryer, perfect for a light, fluffy treat without deep frying.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Open the biscuit dough and separate the biscuits.
  3. Use a small round cutter to cut holes in the center of each biscuit to form donut shapes.
  4. Place donuts and holes in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding.
  5. Air fry for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through if needed.
  6. While the donuts are frying, mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  7. Remove donuts from the air fryer and brush them with melted butter.
  8. Immediately coat the donuts in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  9. Repeat with remaining donuts and donut holes.
  10. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use an air fryer liner for easier cleanup.
  • Try different toppings like powdered sugar or glaze for variety.
  • Best enjoyed fresh on the same day.
