Description

A festive and refreshing dessert made with layers of fruit, whipped cream, and cake, perfect for celebrating Independence Day.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 2 cups pound cake or angel food cake, cubed
  • Optional: fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash and prepare the blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries.
  2. Cut the pound cake or angel food cake into small cubes.
  3. In clear glasses or jars, layer the ingredients starting with cake cubes, followed by a spoonful of whipped cream, and then a layer of berries.
  4. Repeat the layers until the glass is full, ending with a dollop of whipped cream and a few berries on top.
  5. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
  6. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, use Greek yogurt instead of whipped cream.
  • You can substitute any red and blue fruits of your choice.
