- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté bell pepper and onion until soft (about 5–6 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Stir in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1–2 more minutes.
- Return peppers and onions to the pan and mix with the beef.
- Lay provolone cheese slices over the mixture. Cover and cook until cheese is melted.
- Toast hoagie rolls if desired, then fill with the cheesy beef mixture.
- Serve hot!

- You can swap provolone for American or mozzarella.
