Description

These 30-Minute Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks deliver all the classic flavor with a time-saving twist! Juicy ground beef, sautéed peppers and onions, and melted provolone cheese come together in a toasted hoagie for a fast, satisfying meal everyone will crave.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté bell pepper and onion until soft (about 5–6 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
  • Stir in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1–2 more minutes.
  • Return peppers and onions to the pan and mix with the beef.
  • Lay provolone cheese slices over the mixture. Cover and cook until cheese is melted.
  • Toast hoagie rolls if desired, then fill with the cheesy beef mixture.
  • Serve hot!

Notes

  • You can swap provolone for American or mozzarella.
