Description

2-Ingredient Doughnuts Soft, fluffy, and incredibly easy to make, these 2-Ingredient Doughnuts are perfect for a quick sweet treat. Made with self-rising flour and Greek yogurt, they fry up beautifully golden and can be dusted with sugar, glazed, or filled—no yeast or rise time needed!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain, full-fat)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine self-rising flour and Greek yogurt to form a sticky dough.
  • Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead until smooth (about 2–3 minutes).
  • Roll out and cut into doughnut shapes using a cutter or the rim of two glasses.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat (about 350°F / 175°C).
  • Fry doughnuts in batches, 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towels and coat in sugar or glaze once slightly cooled.

Notes

  • Make your own self-rising flour by mixing 1 cup all-purpose flour + 1 1/2 tsp baking powder + 1/4 tsp salt.
  • Add cinnamon or vanilla extract for extra flavor.
  • Try filling them with jam or cream using a piping bag.
  • Best served warm the same day.
